世界自然基金會（WWF)過去曾在德國柏林Gendamenmarkt音樂廳前的臺階上，放置了一千個小冰人。這項活動由世界自然基金會邀請巴西藝術家Nele Azevedo共同合作，由Nele製作出充滿藝術感的小冰人，並公開展示，任其融化消失，希望能藉此吸引更多人重視格陵蘭和南極西部冰層融解的問題，提高人們對地球溫室效應的關注。
